An Update on Spirits: Almost there!

For those of you that have been following our opening, it's no surprise that we still continue to operate without the ability to sell wine, beer and liquor. :-(

It has been an unfortunate snag that we had not anticipated when we set ourselves up to open in early November. We appreciate those of you that have continued to come in for lunch/dinner, suffering through the inability to have a beer or a nice glass of wine with your meal. We thank you for your business.

After what seems like an eternity, it would appear that our spirit-free existence will soon be coming to an end. Our public hearing for the approval of our liquor license has been scheduled for next Thursday, December 17th. If all goes well, we will be able to begin selling alcohol that day.

We have been in contact with a number of our eventual distributors, and we will do our best to have liquor/beer/wine in building as quickly as possible, however it might be a bit of a stretch for them to create our accounts, process our applications, and approve and deliver product within a tight 24-hour window. We are hopeful that we will be able to have SOME product in building on the 18th, but cannot promise that we will have as wide of a variety that we had hoped.

Again, thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to unravel this snag. We are looking forward to serving you :-) soon!
